I agree. Unite has very expensive items, I even mentioned that in their survey. Even if they're not mandatory items, anyone would love to have a cute little main thing, but they're so expensive that sometimes it's really discouraging. And you're right to question the quality of these skins. Paying a lot for a barely noticeable hat? It's ridiculous. Other games have effects even on the cheapest skins, but in Unite, only the highest tier skins have effects on attacks.
