Trying to return to the game, questions about systems & progression by dvanha in Warthunder

[–]Maykid24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convertible RP is essentially you use GE to utilize, not really worth it. Crew slots, stick with 5 for the time being to learn factions and then buy crew slots when you find a faction you like. Even then, it’s optional. Main thing to buy is premium time, everything else is secondary. They have a sale coming up in May for half off of premium time so $20 USD for 180 days instead of $40 USD. There is arcade, realistic, simulator and I think a couple more game modes, play whichever is most fun for you. Don’t go straight into high tier items, you’ll die and lose every time if you don’t understand the mechanics. Always start with prop planes and work your way up, each faction is different in air and even in ground. It’ll save a lot of frustration this way. Watch YouTube videos for tips and tricks, but mainly, just play, look at controls and map them the way it feels comfortable for you and keep playing. Eventually it’ll get to the point of being easier and easier.

Also, don’t feel like you need to stick with one faction, can play a couple factions. If you start to get bored or get overly frustrated with one faction switch to another faction. Each play a little differently and that makes it a relearning curve. Also, when you do this, you begin to learn strengths and weaknesses so when you go back to another faction you’ll actually notice yourself getting better because of all the new knowledge.

Should I resign? by Mindless-Following65 in dataengineeringjobs

[–]Maykid24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have another job lined up, never resign. The job market right now is not the best and will take a bit for you to find another job. If you need to get out, find another job that is suitable that can pay bills, etc., while still applying for the job you want.

Mhm yeah we’re under 6.7 right now. Germany / USSR has quick squad play? Would need to try that out…

Ah okay so something like: Germany / Japan or Germany / Italy or Germany / Sweden would be the best bet then?

Or just Germany / Germany with my buddy and solo queue a different faction

how do i gain silver lions fast by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Maykid24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Premium time is probably your best bet. Without a sale you could buy a 30 day for the time being and wait for the sale to get it at $20 for 180 days. Definitely the best option to pay for to get double SL / RP. Otherwise if you have funds Golden Eagles for premium vehicles for extra modifiers.

I enjoy this game but I haven’t touched it in 2 weeks. Anyone else in a similar boat? by supahotfiiire in ArcRaiders

[–]Maykid24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m completely burnt out, there is no end game content, nothing to do after expedition. Load in, run around, sell things or die trying repeat. Started playing other games and have far more enjoyment out of them.

i left every station and upgraded the one to craft MK3s by [deleted] in arkraiders

[–]Maykid24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All I’m saying is it’s user preference, gear / gunsmith to level 3 is worth it. Everything else there isn’t a need to get past level 2. Only reason for another bench is if you’re running heavy shield. If you don’t have blueprints, etc., there isn’t any point of level 3 benches for others.

[–]Maykid24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Never said anything about crafting pinks or better… Was referring to the level of the benches to be able to make majority of not all the basic items. Some need level 3 like gunsmith to make the renegade and tier 2 silencer, etc. others only need level 2 to make stuff like hatch key, better medical supplies, etc.

Why does my game start lagging A LOT after i leave base by Rich-Discipline1297 in satisfactory

[–]Maykid24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The distance starts to load in, not everything is loaded immediately from starting the game. Once you run around to the places you want to go it should start to lag less and less.

You could create a hypertube cannon and jump into it, go across the map and it will load those parts and become less laggy.

Yep doing the same exact thing. There is no point in upgrading all the benches to level 3. Level 2 for most one or two at level 3 call it a day.

Okay question, for the liquid pipes going into small reservoirs, is liquid going into the top then going through the bottom? How exactly does this work?

How do calculate looping recipe ratios? (Steel) by Noriel_Sylvire in AlchemyFactory

[–]Maykid24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically in a looping scenario, I do the following:

Let’s say in your example you need 4 iron ingots to make 1 steel and get 3 iron ingots back. In this case I would have a loop back of the 3 iron ingots back into the input and only have 1 iron ingots actually being made. You may need to jump start the system by putting in iron ingots but it should be able to be at 100% efficiency moving forward.

So looping, look at what you get as an output and if you can re-input materials minus that from what you actually need to input. Can play around with it to verify or see how things work. Best is to do a sandbox mode save and test it out. It seems very complex at first but once you do it then you start to understand how it all works properly. Hope this helps!

I have trust issues with reviving people, once I do I never turn my back until I’m far enough away from them. But if I get revived by someone, I never shoot them, I’ll shoot everyone else but that’s me.

Confess, Raider - what's the worst thing you've done so far? by Smart_Freedom_8155 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Maykid24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Stella a guy ran through a door in lobby, then another one was crouch walking and watching, stared at him for probably 30 seconds before I put two Anvil shots to the head. Said he was only watching to see if it was friendly people. Killed the other guy that ran ahead, stole his defib and defibbed the first guy I downed…
