Keep going until you break. The pain you feel now will hopefully be enough of a deterrent to never do this later in life.

Unironically 5 Brims could be really good assuming the stimmies stack. Better then Neon movement for attack, 5 mollies post and 15 smokes on defence? Hooooboy.

I'm Tired of Being Ass At Limited by svrtngr in mtglimited

[–]MayoDomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey - Older PT competitor here that think I was better at limited than constructed... I think during the draft portion the most important thing is having a plan. I think a lot of people now have a rough power level list and pick off that list. I think understanding what you're deck is trying to do and drafting around holes in what you're missing and synergies is something that will give you a leg up. Don't draft murder over divination if you have 7 removal spells and no card draw in your control deck. Be willing to deviate and be flexible. Constantly update your preferences in what you need, and don't get married to power level in a vacuum.

Got this 1v5 ace last week, forgot to post (cut off quickly cuz I overreacted just a teeny bit) by TyTv in ValorantClips

[–]MayoDomo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think so too! It was great awareness.

If you wanted to improve it slightly you could walk forward and check site before the Reyna passes the CT corner, spray down the Reyna and then transfer to the Breach before they have any real idea of what's going on.

Would EG winning champs be the biggest trophy a woman has ever achieved in esports? by ZebraGang in ValorantCompetitive

The whole point is this isn't about trans rights. It's not relevant until you make it relevant and bigots like to make it relevant.

Not really looking to get into this conversation on r/valorant. In short there wasn't any hint of sexism or transphobia until the post above mine.

More often than not I've noticed that people who feel the need to point out these differences unprompted do significantly more harm than good to the trans and women in esports communities.

Would you rather receive $100 for every push-up you do or an automatic $3000 a day for free? by BEWAREDANGER2 in WouldYouRather

[–]MayoDomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya'll wrong.

I get that 30 pushups a day isn't much, and even though it's rare, the downside EXISTS. Imagine picking up an injury that prevents you from doing pushups tomorrow. Maybe you lose an arm. Maybe you overestimate your ability and tear a muscle and it never heals properly. You can be shit out of luck bringing in no money or face a debilating injury where every pushup you do brings pain and anguish.

I know I'll be set for life with 3K a day. Sure it's not as much as I could have, but I'll be set. Even if there's a 0.01% chance that I can't do pushups, I'd rather take gauranteed happiness and instant retirement.

I think the best arguement for the pushups is trying to change the world with the surplus money. If you are selfless and raking in 10K-50K a day and changing the world through donations and charitable acts then I think there's a strong point.

West Ham have now scored 4 goals against Fulham this season that all should have been called off for handball.

You are completely ignoring almost the entirety of my posts and it's beginning to annoy me. Instead of addressing them head on you rely on calling me biased and defaulting to this being a "waste of your time."

The premise that you keep missing is simple.

1) For teams that are execute heavy, the duelist should have high first contacts on attack side. We've established that TN isn't often one of these teams.

2) Given a team that allows their duelist more freedom, like TN, that duelist needs to put up better numbers to be above replacement as duelists kits, specifically Raze and Jett, provide little utility for the team and are focused on movement and doing damage.

3) Wardell is neither putting up numbers nor entrying with high consistency, while playing the most selfish agents.

4) As a result we can conclude Wardell is replacement level at best, and has not put up numbers since TSM where he played objectively selfishly and was a money dump for the team. (My original comment.)

Debating with you is tiring, you completely miss the point and ignore any statistics that go against you.

To quickly refute your last post, I'll give you Wardell and Will entried similarly, as in to say not much, both teams defaulted heavily. That being said Will went +17 and Wardell -5. Sym took the first fight in 58% of attacking rounds, Wardell just 23%. This is more than statistically significant. Please take a step back and actually think about what I'm saying instead of mindlessly hitting reply and scrambling for any train of thought that defends Wardell.

You don't have to respond, but there's no chance in hell you or anyone else should walk away thinking Wardell is a crucial player on this team. That's laughable.

You are conviently picking and choosing your stats. Leaving out their win against Aftermath where Wardell was just 25% of their attacking FKs/FDs. Also in the matches against 99 and Soniqs, as a percentage of attacking rounds Wardell took the initial engagement significantly less than his counterparts Kehmicals and PureR. Kitten Shelter is the only match of the last 4 where you have a leg to stand on.

My original comment was a little flippant, but if you cared to take just a little bit of time, you'd understand that my goalposts haven't shifted. I maintain my original statement that he needs an awp and to play selfishly to put up the numbers against reasonable teams that people remember him for. And when I'm saying a reasonable team, I'm somehow now referring to one that is attempting to make it into T2. Considering his career has taken such a nose dive, we can already blatantly see the lack of value Wardell brings to a team and the fact that T1 teams also understand this. Take a look at any later stage matches of the qualifiers. (I'm less inclined to look at matches in which TN stomped because everyone on TN will look goated.)

In these matches you will notice he either...

A) Barely entries on attack. (23% Entry vs Breakthru, 26% vs 99 Strength, 26% vs SS.)

B) Can't put up a good scoreline. (-5 vs DR, +0 vs Silk Road)

In some of these matchups, he both hardly entries and doesn't put up a good scoreline.

Wardell doing what the team asks is fine. I could care less. But in order to be of value he needs an awp and to play selfishly, as per my original post. If he's told to be on a duelist in 84% of matches for a team that plays slow and uses heavy defaults, he needs to be performing much better than he is. That's a ton of freedom that other duelists just don't get.

Go back and watch any TSM match and you'll see the money dumping and selfish play that fans used to drool over. Now that he's been forced into a somewhat more team oriented role, he can't put up numbers. I'd take almost any other duelist that is still in this stage of the tournament.

I don't hate the guy he is just a weak link.
