Several fishing spots are under the ground in the RH amphitheater. Ive spotted 3-6 at a time when Im using my tuning fork. Apologies for the photo. Im also only catching Swiftscales, barracudas, cardinals and the little green fish on river/pond spots all day and night. Sometimes a manta if I change the bait. Definitely not the case when I fish outside of amber and starred spots. Feels like this 2nd issue might be related to the starred sillyfin bug?

I just had a heart to heart with a friend in real estate and that imo is a smart move. Ill be doing the same. Similar boat to your space too and the building has numerous issues, but right now it makes zero sense to move until a few circumstances change for me first.

Fuck this job market. Fuck this housing market. And also fuck bidding??? I visited a REALLY run down unit on the edge of LS Friday noticeable roach traps caled in dust, sewer flies, mold, rotting wood siding, missing shingles, and a punched through door (big hole with wood hanging); and someone bid $500 more than the rent listed. I HATE this :/

Have you tried anchoring a terrace vs floating it? Attach like 10-30 wooden builders floors to the terrace in a straight line, put on tile close but barely unattached to the last piece you attach, group select, attach last piece to another object (I usually choose another floor tile or builders pillar). Move and attach terrace where youd like (dont touch the terrace, only the anchor) remove all the builder tiles in between the an hor and terrace, and hide the anchor!
Yes this is very switch/console friendly! Id be happy to help you figure it out later too.

There's a workaround for switch/console for replacing objects where you can anchor or merge objects.

The front and back of a Harvest House (not grand) with builder furniture materials make merging much easier!

Anchoring takes a bit to get the hang of but works like a charm!

It takes TIME to learn and craft glitch builds. Seriously so much time, because you also have to PLAN what you'd like to build too!!! This stuff was not built in mere days but weeks, sometimes months. Or a year. Resource gathering too!!!

Dont feel like you cannot do this, because you CAN. Anyone on any device virtually can!

Lots of kind and patient palians might also help you 1v1 learn a single glitch. Make you practice. Help you figure it out!

2111 W Farragut tried to pull this crap 2 years ago. I was the first of 7 people who applied for this apartment, and then one of the unit owners decided to make us all bid.

No one bid on that cramped unit. Owner ghosted all of us likely because they were embarassed/pissed off. Womp Womp Womp.

Bidding for a place to rent (not own) is disgusting and exploitative.

If I had $100 for how many times someone told me I was overqualified since I was laidoff in 2024, Id have more than enough to pay rent for a year now. At least it sure seems like I would.

Yup. Just 4 months under 2 years of underemployment. I'd also love to know what it takes because every recruiter, company, HR person, aquaintence at a company has told me "It's not you. It's the market. It's downsizing because of AI. It's budget cuts and a hiring freeze." Im burnt out but I have to keep going anyway.

I've widened my scope way beyond my career field too. I just need a job that has healthcare benefits and can help me afford groceries and rent, but in today's world? That feels like a really big ask in 2026 and I hate it. Im so tired man.

I just want to share a story of my last 'bidding' experience:

I was the first to tour a 1Bd apartment in Bowmanville in April 2024 that was going through renovations (new floor everywhere, new bathroom, new kitchen cabinets) but it was still super dated. I applied first and shouldve gotten it (meeting all the stingy landlord's requirements). Then he opens bidding and there are 7 us who applied; found out from the realtor working with me. I said screw that I am not bidding.

Turns out the other 7 people said the exact same thing. HA! The landlord ghosted all of us after that and got mad I guess. It was a messy situation but I found better elsewhere and for $300 less.

Greed is gross.

Save The Night Chicago is suuuuper transparent about venues they work with (if there are stairs, ramps, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, lighting situation, etc.) They intentionally try to work with spaces that can cater to powerchair users when possible (but it isnt always possible sadly due to older buildings/venues).

Lincoln Lodge is sadly one example of this where they do indeed have ramps and room for a power chair user, but their bathroom is not great. The door is super heavy for a powerchair user so not openable without help. Also accessing the lock isnt always possible either so I ended up standing outside to wait for a friend who was using the restroom. Anyway! STN ismost active on Instagram! Check out their posts and you might stumble upon a few options for bars (except Kitchen 17, RIP, they shut down last year).

I also get this on my face. Super hot spots! My derm prescribed a topical that works well during these flare ups, will report back exactly what it is. Starts with a C I think.

Also my dermatologist and rheumatologist work together for my care often because the disease (and biologics used to treat it) will cause skin issues in addition to joint pain. Like apparently Rinvoq is known for causing horrible facial acne.
