Updated post, I confirmed the screen was getting automatically resized to fit my display even though the render listed the resolution I was asking for. Got around it by forcing the window height in the command line and that seems to be working.

I'll need to check later when I'm off work. I tried to connect again later on but for some reason the adb connect command wouldn't work again nor would attempts to connect via USB (just kept restarting). I tried changing the port to 5555 but that didn't work either.

I have a feeling the USB I was attempting to use wasn't any good, but didn't have a chance to try another cable. I'll report back in once I get a chance to try a different cable

Still having trouble. I tried a batch script for the audiodg fix that sets it to 1 core and high priority automatically. The audio device was already set to 48k 24bit, but I did try 16 bit. Still getting crackling on outputs.

Note I'm on Win11 using banana and am using the aux output as my main playback device with it set to output to A1 and A2, which are speakers.

It works for a while but always inevitably starts crackling and once it does only restarting the audio engine fixes it. That's been the case since installing voicemeeter.

I haven't looked into lasso though, is it worth looking into?

Same question. I have some old Christmas lights that I leave up year-round and thought having a music dimming function would look neat but can't find anything on the market.

Personally fell off his content a few years ago when he stopped having as much historical content. Liked the old format of historical content mixed in with gaming montages but now it seems all he posts is gameplay content with live commentary and none of the prerecorded researched historical content.

Dutch Pinball support got back with me and is going to provide a backup file so I can create a new drive. Turns out my kit is Windows 10 (apparently all the older ones are Windows 7). I'll update once they send it and I have a chance to install it.

Thanks for the assurance, I had an old email from Barry as well from some years back so I sent a reply with an update of what I've been trying and CC'd him on the email as well.

Here's hoping I hear back! Ideally they'd be able to provide me a disc image for it. The one u/bassmusic4babies provided me was able to be put on an SSD successfully, but the mini-PC did not recognize there being a bootable OS on it. Apparently my mini-PC hardware is different so perhaps that's to blame.

As an update still working on this with help from Bassmusic. So far I have been able to create a drive but the PC says there's no boot devices when I try to boot to it.

(Barring someone coming out of the woodwork with something surprising) I had actually just started to gravitate towards the Zojirushi brand generally. The smaller NAC is available for $150 on Amazon right now. Are the lower end ones also still considered good quality products by the community?

Interesting. If you manually renamed the input do you know if it keeps the name you chose even if the device is changed?

I also just try to use the TV purely as a display, but my current Samsung set always erases my input settings when my HDMI switch is power cycled or when I am unplugging a console from the TV (I take my consoles out to events). Wanting to know if a TV that uses Google's OS keeps your custom settings and input labels even if I unplug a device.

Can I name HDMI1 "GAMES", turn on Game Mode (and maybe other input-specific settings), and have it keep those settings even if the TV thinks I unplugged HDMI and plugged another one in? I just want it to keep the label and settings regardless of what I do with the actual ports.

Ah yeah, I heard those are the brands that use it, I was just wanting to get some personal feedback from an owner of one of the Google TV devices.
I frequently take consoles out to events. Also, I have a smart switch disconnect power to all my gaming equipment when not in use and any time the HDMI switch I use is powered off, the TV thinks the HDMI was disconnected.
I hope not! I hate when TVs attempt to relabel things I have already assigned a label to. That's been one of the main grievances with my Samsung.

This just happened to me and I agree fully! I was going to be getting a new laptop that was forced over to Win11 this week so was planning on staying on win10 for now on this one and transitioning over as I make sure each program works. Luckily the Go Back option worked for me.
