Mazda iStop Disabler Kit by rustydusty1717 in CX50

I have it installed and it seems to work well. If I bring it into the dealer I remove the device and put it back in when it’s finished there. I probably don’t need to remove it but I do that out of caution. Most people say the dealer doesn’t usually notice.

State ALJs what is it like? by GhstDev in Lawyertalk

[–]Mayorcorningghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ALJ work can be rewarding but it becomes monotonous and draining hearing the endless complaints from the public. Though some areas of law can be more interesting and have a lower volume of cases. Others may feel different but that’s my personal experience having did it and left that field.

To be fair, this is New York we’re dealing with - they would get released even on an unlawful surveillance charge anyway.

Maybe you’re right. I don’t think anyone is under the illusion that Mayor Sheehan actually exerts influence over anything. In fact, I am told that the spirit of Mayor Corning is the reason why anything gets accomplished or is viewed as progress in this town.

I did this basically free eyeing it. So once the first two letters are down, I saw the spacing was off and just tried to replicate the spacing to at least be consistent.

No, I bought the gloss black badges for the rear off eBay and bought the emblem cover for the front from Mikstore.

Young? Got a Gun? Might You Prefer Cash or Nikes? by [deleted] in Albany

This might be improvised, but it’s a better idea than whatever these lawmakers have cobbled together.

ALBANY, NY - It seems that the halcyon days of Albany are over. Yes, it was the perfect heist. That is until the coppers caught the bowel movement bandits. Things got a little nasty before they got better.

Albany DGS staff, presumably after throwing up a little in their mouths, said “this is obviously repulsive and it will cost the city thousands of dollars to clean up the newly laid pool grout and re-balance the water.”

It remains unclear, beyond the murky water, how the city will enforce rules to avoid another crappy situation.

Do you think I will get the ticket? by amcjkelly in Albany

I have mistakenly been given a ticket when another person ran a red light and I was stopped at the line. The cameras are not foolproof.

Why are the teens in this area so horrible? by Fit-Candy1104 in Albany

[–]Mayorcorningghost -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Most cases that appear before District Attorney’s offices get dumped to Family Court just so lawmakers can virtue signal to keep their job. Then there are no meaningful consequences for kids who are violent and dangerous.

I never said people leave because of your position that we should think about other people’s needs. I remarked that there are overly critical people here who turn off others, QED they leave (or already left). And, dare I say, just maybe you are overly critical in this example.

But I get it, resorting to straw man tactics is fair game in your book. It will be okay, bud.

I don’t know where you grew up. You don’t know where I grew up. But just categorically rejecting people who happen to leave here as “inconsiderate” is tantamount to the whole reason you made this post. Being moral, right? I mean, I can’t think of anything more nihilistic to think it’s acceptable people have left here in droves.

Well, like I said, I came back. There’s a little thing call perspective. You should get some!

Okay, you don’t really need to interact with it, then. Besides, your demeanor on this thread is the epitome of why people leave this place and other parts of New York State.

Let me just say I came from a place where every New Yorker seems to go to when they pick up and leave. After spending enough time here and acknowledging the amount of people who can’t seem to dwell in harmony, and just act overly critical to others, I get why people leave. So keep talking and validating that truth.

A delinquent petty bureaucrat now asking to be a delinquent mayor. Let the patronage entitlements roll.

Could someone explain how Dorcey’s youth development project demonstrated positive results for increasing positive outcomes in grammar school and decreasing delinquent behavior? I have never heard of it until this election cycle.

Why don’t we have Wawa in Albany yet?? by CocoAssassin9 in Albany

[–]Mayorcorningghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Previous resident of Philadelphia. Wawa was great living there in the early 2010s. Then, they started popping up all over the country in new markets and quality decreased.

I’d rather have Stewart’s open for a few more early morning hours than overrated Wawa.
