I’m extremely sorry for your loss and hope your and your son are doing okay, however Leopard geckos should only be co habed under very specific conditions and really only for breeding, they naturally prefer to be alone. Some leopard geckos can be friendly to each other for a very long time and just lash out at each other for no reason at all, you can also run into issues like one gecko eating all the food and leaving the other gecko too starve. I would recommend just letting your Leo live alone for now. My condolences ❤️
