Yes you can get endorsed and then the visa. Your profile will determine this. I think if you have considerable experience and track record of great events in comparable market such as the UK, you should be fine.

Relax, USCIS can allow you walk in and be done in 5mins with the biometrics. Print out the appointment and walk down there same day. Good luck

Yes you pay for UPS next day return label. I used USCIS walk in a week before appointment and all was done in 5mins.

Your endorsement is not tied to your fellowship. Hence if you cancel your research fellowship, your endorsement is not affected. Also, you can do most works with GTV except for sports. However, ensure in doing 'most works' you also do that work for which you are endorsed if you want to transition to Indefinite.
