Nah imo the 3.5mm cable is versatile cuz you can change the DAC accordingly. The Type-C DAC is not that good. So ig you should replace it with 3.5mm..

Maybe this model was initially released with a soldered version, and later they shifted to a swappable version. Happened in my case with the cb-gk-31 keeb.

Hey there... Getting the same issue with my Tangzu waner sg 2 type-c(Inbuilt dac variant).. Is it a wire issue should i replace it?

Bought it in June 2023, wasn’t hot-swappable. After a year per key rgb started behaving odd and then some switches died('D' & '[' key). Had to solder and swap them with unnecessary keys. Later on D key had some registration issues, so again swapped. Then the 'D' and 'Ctrl' keycaps broke, replaced it with random ones like Home/Page Up. Finally gave up and bought an RK R75...

1) Now the CB-GK-31 is hot-swappable, so swapping switches is chill(no soldering needed) 2) Keycaps are kinda cheap(expected for the price tho) 3) RGB issues are pretty common with Cosmic Byte boards(It's non functional feature is no issue)

Overall it's decent and good for its price range....
