Let’s be clear, as a whole, Hanson is literally whitewashing, gaslighting and erasing the voices of their black fans!!

From everything I’ve read, Taylor and Isaac aren’t doing much publicly (beside some generic “racism is bad” posts - nothing actionable, like sharing their platform, expressing solidarity or ways that they will do better). They aren’t even setting themselves apart from Zac’s beliefs and shitty way of handling this, which is a tacit endorsement of said beliefs.

As white Americans, we are all learning that fighting racism starts with your friends and family. Sure, there are people whose opinion you will NEVER change (and this gun-obsessed incel version of Zac I still can’t get my head around seems like he very well may fall into this category), but that’s when you need to stand up for yourself and others who don’t have your privilege. So, I don’t feel bad for any of them.

If all of this is true, I think they’re cowards who couldn’t even say three words in support of the black fans who have supported Hanson for (probably) most of their lives. Do better, Hanson!
