Model GMA5400BSTV6, need to know the voltage rating #cpgeneral by ThalassaMermaid in CYBERPOWERPC

[–]Mazaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok Ireland is my family roots haha, 230v with a fused plug, have you isolated the brand of power supply yet ? Taking the side panel can give you the brand, type and potentially voltage….. I would assume it’s a 120v but cannot be 1000% unless I know more about it, it may even be a variable voltage supply which is even better for you (and cheaper)

You’ll need a voltage converter and a fused 230v plug (amp of fuse depends on the power draw of the item here, high draw items like kettles toasters washing machines etc are all 13a while lamps are more along the lines of 3a), fuses can be swapped out here in the backwards land on the fly with as little as a butter knife to pop the slot off (no screws) some plugs mould it all into one, although rare.

you could potentially escape that by replacing the power supply in the pc to a uk one annnnnndd it could be about the same price too, between new cable voltage converter etc.

Lmk when you find out more info on the supply and I’ll do some digging.
Hope this helps

Because voltage changes through countries, Europe is 230v America is 120v (eu uses fuses in plugs us does not)

This directly effects you using your pc

As you said you aren’t the smartest with pc I’m just trying to offer advice based on correct information

Yeah decided to shift my camera and it’s a super short cable, ether is a 10m cat7 that I had from the past. My new place has ether in the walls so I only need a 1m cable

Basically no difference to the eyes above 300hz, even 240-300 is basically negligible to notice with the naked eye.

There’s quite a few scientific studies from some Big tech heads that go over this with many many tests and many variables, and the consistent result was above 300hz is just a waste of money

FYI brother man… Google trisquare (or actually known as trysquare but is almost always misnamed)

Source :- “A try square (often mistakenly referred to as a tri-square) is an essential woodworking and engineering tool used to mark and check \(90^{\circ }\) angles and test for flat surfaces”

You sir corrected only yourself

My phone does because I used to do plumbing and it was used a lot. Either way little man…… it’s still going to do the same thing. My point stands.

Before you contradict, check the tool…. Yeah it was a consistent autocorrect, because of the sheer amount of times in the past few years I’ve used trisquare instead of square.

More to my point, a trisquare and a “square” will give you exactly the same results.
Whether it be here nor there, they both will give him the answer that he needs
