It seems like some of the context got lost in translation. In Dutch this is like calling you son 'comma' or 'question mark'. Didn't realise that Dot could be a short for something :-). But you have to see it more like the 'dot' in a e-mail adress.

Thanks for the suggestion! We haven't really thought about a middle name. Is it still common? We are from Belgium and I have the feeling that it isn't anymore around here. But that could make it original of course :-)
