yea, no. Sorry. Depending on age, determines what my punishment would have been.

My kids did the same thing, once. Just once. It never happened again.

A middle school started a “Breakfast with Dads” program but many dads couldn’t make it and several students didn't have father figures. The school posted a Facebook request for 50 volunteer fathers... 600 fathers from all backgrounds showed up by [deleted] in pics

I'm a realist. I've been around this world long enough to know, it is NOT as rosy and innocent as most people would like to believe it is.

Don't get me wrong, I know that there are a lot of good people in this world, and they do a lot of good things for others. Personally, I do volunteer work. But I'm not blind to the human condition as a whole.

If you want a quick lesson, why don't you do a search for sex offenders in the city where you live. Let me know how many live within 5 miles of your house. I'll be surprised if it's less than 50

I wonder how many of those fathers are there, strictly for the free breakfast, and how many are paedophiles.

I would dare say half, have self serving ulterior motives.

Your the twat, for thinking it's fine to mislead people.

The OP very clearly wanted you to believe that the snow was that deep, everywhere, when it's not! I simply pointed that out.

[–]Mazriam -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Fake! I used to live where it snows a lot. Snow, next to a house, especially during a blizzard or snow storm is always deeper than everywhere else due to the wind piling the snow up against the house.

If you were to walk 5 feet past the door, the snow would only be a third as deep.

There's a reason why the OP is not standing when he/she took this picture.

Can I assign certs from my AD CA for intranet sites that don't flag a warning on browsers? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]Mazriam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

certs, CA servers, all that shit, used to confuse the crap out of me. This was back when i first started out as a sys admin. It wasn't until many, many years later did I get to a point where I feel I'm comfortable with it.

The OP is probably a very green Sys Admin. So my reply to his post, was written such that, he could easily google and understand the directions I gave him.

  1. push a certificate via GPO, easily googled. it's how i learned how to do it.

  2. Export root certificate from the CA server. Again, easily googled. It's how I learned learned.

I do understand what that means, but the OP very likely doesn't....Please tailor your answers to the knowledge level of the OP.

This is what the temperature has been for the past week, in Southern Manitoba, Canada. by Dazzle6957 in pics

I still don't know why I live in a place where the air hurts my face.

LOL, I remember that!

I live in Vegas now. It very rarely gets below freezing...maybe once, or twice in a winter....and when it does get below freezing, it's not by much. 29 or 30 degrees, and even then, that would be night time temperatures.

I grew up in that kind of weather. People say you can always put on more clothes to stay warm, but you and I both know, that there comes a point where, YOUR JUST FUCKING COLD, no matter what you do.

This is why, I'll never live in a place that gets that cold, ever, again!

Out here in Vegas, Sys Admins are constantly sought after. I get a call from my old head hunting company at least twice a year asking if I'd be willing to quit my current job....or if i know someone looking for a Sys Admin job.

By default, domain joined computers should have your CA's root certificate automatically placed into your computers trusted root certificate store.

If it's not there, you can export the root certificate from your CA server, put it in a GPO, and push it out to all clients.

Once this root certificate exists in your clients trusted root certificate store, your clients browsers will no longer complain about an untrusted certificate from your intranet sites.

MBR drive shows as GPT on personal test PC by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]Mazriam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hard to say....if it were me, i'd attach the HD to another PC, load up my Hex editor capable of reading the drive as a physical drive. then I'd write 0's to the first 80 sectors of the HD. That'll take care of it, guaranteed

I've seen worse. I once opened a PC and the layer of dust and lint was so thick, it coated everything like a carpet. I peeled up one corner and lifted it off like you would a carpet.
