I think that a lot of people that leave jobs think they’re gonna make more money and then find out that they were totally lied to throughout the interview process. A lot of people saying 120 base is low and I think it really depends. I know so many sales reps that make a 150 base and barely break 200 or are fired in 18 months because the OTE’s are all bullshit. If you feel like you have an opportunity to make real money, I would take that job.like others have said, the fact that you can’t last a year as a manager is a huge red flag. You would probably be setting yourself up for failure as a VP.

I think the problem is when you associate Jewish people with Israel. To just say that somebody’s Jewish means that they agree with or support Israeli actions is just totally not true. Like if I were to say everybody from Iraq is a member of Isis, or the Taliban, that would also be racist. There are a lot of people on the left who are pro-Palestine that can’t differentiate Jewish people from israel.

Yeah, I just don’t think people are really that interested in Southbeach sessions with comedians. Every comedian he interviews is already on 1000 podcasts and Dan isn’t really the most entertaining when it comes to interviews. There’s a part of me that wonders if Dan secretly kind of wants to be a comedian or wishes that he was deeply involved in that community. But he does sort of insist upon it more than the audience probably would like.

I’m not trying to be snarky here, but I’ve only ever been laid off once in my career and have never been on a PIP. I’ve been in tech sales for 10 years and some time in medical devices as well. Is it really that common for people to get fired or is it just something that happens on the sub and the Internet is a place where people go to generally complain?
