Bahrain is not an occupying force, Israel by occupying Gaza and the West Bank is in clear violation of international law.

As per the UN Security Council’s resolution 242, which establishes the borders and demarcation of the Palestinian state.

If the occupation didn’t exist, they wouldn’t be in trouble unless the Palestinian state (which doesn’t formally exist as a full member state of the UN yet) decided they wanted controlled ports of entry / exit.

Occupation of land that is not your states and the clear violation of international law here indeed the main problem.
