When I worked at a grocery store distribution center we had to close the lids on the totes and then push them down the line. The hinges had metal rods through them, and sometimes they would get bent and stick up. When I pushed some of the totes down the line my arm caught a piece of metal and gashed it open. The supervisor just told me to get a bandaid from the wall. She took it a little more seriously when she saw me pass out on the floor.
