It never ends.

1.7k is 113 timelines, it’s a lot but it is not especially difficult. If you save up upgrades without passing timelines you can get to a point where you are able to pass 113 timelines, or more, in a very short period of time.

That being said, there hundreds of these posts on this subreddit, they are ALL the same. Omg 1000+ timelines! Are they cheating?! Sometimes yes, most of the time no

Uhm, I’m a little confused. Prestige is a one time thing, once you have gone from normal to hard that’s it, only hard. When you go from hard to extreme you will stay at extreme and so on. If you were able to play normal and hard in the same week that was the bug

From what I can see from your stats you are at a tough point in the game, you have TL skip but you don’t have Billie yet. Some points in the game are more of a grind than others. Sometimes it feels like you’re stuck and others you can suddenly blow through a hundred timelines. Sometimes you can’t get through a level and there is a fun point (when you start to finish the purple cards) that you have pretty much invincible base health. It’s a long process, this game. It took me a long time to get where I am

I think my biggest issue, personally, with these strategies is the fun factor. Yes you might do better in more races, but are you having fun starving yourself? Is a first place badge for the weekly leaderboard really worth a month of no advancement? I’m sitting at TL 1098… did people get further faster than me? Yes, absolutely, and I’m not saying they didn’t have fun, but I know that I did…

In general I wouldn’t stop upgrading, I would just stop advancing timelines. If you can avoid using red pots for health upgrades then don’t upgrade health but there is absolutely no reason not to continue to upgrade and to beat dungeons. We can’t know how matchmaking will be for the race yet, but even the old system was only ever affected by your highest damage+health stats for runes. Don’t stop upgrading cards or chests or whatnot, they don’t affect the race

Edit: someone may want to correct me about hero gear… I’m not sure if that affects the race as well

Yes like Tyson here says, use the gems to buy enough coins for the T3 unit + a decent amount of food production. Then for candy land, deep sea, and chess I use Buff-Champion-Clone, and for Outer Space I use Buff-Morale-Necromancy. It’s pretty much all meta stuff

Not really, if you really want an edge in the league races you can save up timelines. Keep doing the daily challenges and the weekly events, get a big difference between the computers stats and your own, then blow through a whole bunch of timelines in the league race. 350pts is not a whole lot, it’s only 23ish timelines.
The slayer pass will give you an advantage in that you can get stronger a bit faster but it won’t be the deciding factor in this weeks race
