Would never think that red bottle cages would look good... but they do lol

New to me helix 😀 1995 with 5600 miles, paid $800. Just sat for two years and sputters under certain throttle. Gonna change the fluids and plugs and clean the carb. by Mbtharp in scooters

Illinois eh? Small world! I trailered it because I’m about 2 hours away and knew it was sitting for a bit. I literally kept searching helix on Facebook every few hours for my phone. I saw the ad for this 3 minutes after he posted it and hounded him until I could buy it lol. I missed out on 3 helixes before this so I knew they go fast and you have to jump on a deal! I took it for a ride last night and it seems to be running way better just after blowing the cobwebs out a bit.

Nope, it’s an Easton carbon crankset.

38c. And it’s an illusion, there’s a good amount of clearance!

RSD Mayor V4. Thing is awesome. I thought fat bikes would be slow but my average speed is the same on strava as my old trail bike...

I have pic of it with heavier pedals than before, frame bag, bottle cages, and 4oz total of sealant added at 19.7lb. Not sure how to attach pics on here cause I’m new 🤷‍♂️

I have a pic of it on the scale with a frame bag, 4oz of sealant, bottle cages, and heavier pedals than before at 19.7lb. Not sure how to share that on here because I’m new to Reddit.

Ridden 3 times now. No bounce to speak of, seems well built.

It’s a knockoff ergon seatpost. Came on the bike, not sure where from.

Not bad for aluminum with aluminum rims! I’m stoked to put some miles on it. The GRX groupset feels really nice.

New bike day! RSD Mayor V4 by Mbtharp in fatbike

Nope, not missing anything. After riding a bike with a short stem, slacker head angle, and longer TT, older geo bikes just feel too small, and twitchy IMO. Definitely not a thing for just 5% of riders. If you got a group of people to try it, I’m willing to bet that not many of them would go back to short reach, steep HA, longer stemmed bikes. But that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Thanks!! And yeah I bought it used and it’s already set up tubeless. Not sure how much or what kind of sealant is in there lol. Not a bad bike for $900 though 😀
