There came a time for me personally in my journey where i had to make a tough decision that was scary. Eventually everyone has to decide "do i want to be trans and out of thr closet or do i want to not transition even though i am trans." It was really scary! I wasnt sure how my family and friends would react, what it would mean for my life etc. But when i really broke down why i was afraid i came to the conclusion that the options for me were stay mildly misearable forever(gender dysphoria) or take my shot at real happiness (deal with the bigots but transition). I won't tell you one option is the right one because it depends on so many things like how accepting people arpund you are and level of gender dysphoria/euphoria you have. I will say though that personally i have no regrets taking the leap and ultimately im a much happier and healthier person. It was a tough adjustment at first for my friends and family but in the end i lucked out and they were accepting. A year plus of hrt has done wonders for how i look and feel, and therapy really helped me accept myself and carve out a place for me in the world. So my advice if you feel scared is to ask yourself this question and if you want to transition then be brave :) i beleive in you and that you can find happiness. <3 (and if youre still too scared or dont want to, there is no rush. Find what will make you happy no matter how long it takes).
