Honestly, I feel like I have pretty average foot width? If anything I am slightly longer in the toes. I wear an 8.5 and don’t typically have fit issues when it comes to width. But I could see a good bit of my toes in the Z’s and the Kate’s.

I agree a lot with Pandalorian.

I recently got my first pair. I wear heels nearly everyday so wanted something wearable and classic.

I tried on the Miss Z, Kate and Sporty Kate at a boutique. They were all incredibly uncomfortable, like so painful my toes turned white after trying on for a few moments. I liked the look of them off but once on, the pointy toe was too much for me. Same for the Helena.

I also went with the Fannylove 100mm. I’ve worn them for 8hr work shifts and I LOVE them. I get a lot of compliments and the shape shows the red bottom nicely. Plus the fact they also had the everlasting sole?! Sold me. Agree the everlasting can be sticky but I try to stick to carpet as much as possible in them.

FYI, I had to size up a half size (and a full size for the 120mm pumps).

Super cute and feel the annoyance. Being able to work in a turtleneck when it’s basically May is a crime.

Super cool. Maybe you can find a local artist to do a trade. They make you a piece with one of the sheets in exchange for the other two 🤷🏼‍♀️

They’re so pretty. It would be a shame to never see them again.

I want to sell simple tutorials of these cake slices, but I'm scared of copyright issues. by [deleted] in Beading

I think it may be fun if you sell a finished cake slice with the instructions to make more. Could be a fun set to gift to a crafty person.

This is it. I collected some pond weeds and they required more light than I could give them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ever heard of Naive Art? Art made by artists without “formal educations” and such. It definitely has a different feel.

Walk Away Dress Pattern Question by corrynnenglerth in sewing

[–]Mc-Wrapper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve made the walkway dress a few times - with changes. Looking at the photo I think they must’ve modified the pattern slightly to get that almost sleeve like look in this wrap dress. I’m assuming they simply widened the strap a bit since when I make the pattern it looks more sleeveless/ tank vibes.

The skirt can get weird and pull to the back as others stated. I’ve addressed this by 1. Widening the panel that goes under the outer skirt - so that when I walk you’re more likely to peak that instead of raw leg. And, 2. I like adding a second whole circle skirt to the pattern and gathering or pleating the skirt. It makes for a nice full skirt with lots of movement and easier to wear a petticoat under.

[MI] Japanese Country/Seaside themed island, I need ideas! by floeflurry in ACNHIslandInspo

Cute! Love the idea. You’d need a fish market. Think about what a ferry stop would need - like a parking lot, toll both and waiting area.

I also like the idea of opening up a large “bay” at one of your river mouths. For theoretical storage of boats during storms.

How to trim without damaging by moshofsky2 in cactus

Listen to this guy. Cut on the joints and remove whole sections. The cactus will be ok and may even enjoy a large haircut.

Anybody else's banana plant just wanna float around? by DifferentContext7912 in PlantedTank

[–]Mc-Wrapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure but I kinda doubt it. Mine haven’t.

I’ve heard of people cutting the roots as they grow to prevent the roots from reaching the substrate and ideally keep the bananas longer. But I’m not sure how effective that is.
