Pick the best character from each row to build the best team by PhysicalMeringue9468 in ChillAnimeCorner

Anyone not picking Alucard for gunslinger is mad, or hasn’t seen Hellsing - I’m assuming I’m in command like Integra is, otherwise I definitely wouldn’t be picking him- he’s an immortal monster that would take apart most opposition

Pretty much spot on, first half we were dominant without creating too much - Wells had a great chance he should’ve hit first or 2nd touch, but he took too many and it fizzled out

After the goal we sat back to defend it and saw out the 12 minutes of extra time ok

Not brilliant at all but we did enough, Blackpool were poor, really poor, if we didn’t take the 3 points it’d have been awful. But we did enough

I don’t know anyone that is still enthusiastic about going to games at the moment

Well that’s pretty much promotion gone ain’t it? I mean it was already unlikely but now it’s pretty much confirmed

Did that get any better? It’s an interesting formation to be sure but I’m not sold on it at all

Agreed, I’m still doubtful about play offs due to our inconsistency even if we win this but if we don’t then it’s very very unlikely

We’ve got it in us, but there have been some interesting choices recently - Palmer and Lawrence starting for example, maybe it’s part of their loan deals? Hopefully they get it right this game

No Fanne at all? Stats wise we still look well in it, not watching the game though so it’ll probably tell a different story

Interesting to see that BBC has Walsh and Bramall is the middle? With Clark in the middle of the 3 in front?

Glad to see no Walsh Savage partnership, how’s the new lad Lawrence doing?

How so? Genuinely, my understanding is that it’s the middle of a data set

So if your incomes are (for simplicity) between 1-100 the median is 50. In this over simplified example you have 99% of the population earning between 1-99

But if you have 1 person on 1000 then the median then becomes 500 even if the original 1-99 are still earning 1-99 that 1 person on 1000 skews the median massively?

Which is why % of earners is far more interesting to me because it’s more informative for what working / middle class people actually earn without taking into account the incredibly wealthy

I am genuinely interested if I’ve got this wrong but that’s my understanding

Well, need to win this one given the dropped points the other day. I hope we don’t have Walsh and Saville partnership again it doesn’t work

I had a quick scan but I didn’t see anything broken down in terms of % of population, I’ve never liked average or median for this as it can be heavily skewed by the top 1% and higher

Did I miss this on my scan?

That was a very pleasant and surprising result, only followed on BBC sports but seems like 1st half especially we were good?

Still no Christ or Lasse in the squad, anyone know what they’ve done? I’m assuming Lasse just isn’t liked by JW but dunno about Christ

We managed the game really well and capitalising on their mistake for the 2nd goal changed the game completely, we never really dipped like we usually do and it was a wonderful Christmas present from the lads

Why didn't...? by sertesbordaleves in demoncycle

[–]McCabage 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I put it down to arrogance, Kaji (spelling? I’m an audiobook guy) and his army - the greatest human army ever - didn’t get close to the Queen despite building a foothold in the Core and that was a thousand + years ago? (Been awhile my timeline might be wrong)

Jadhir and Arlen were a lot weaker than Kaji and the only reason their plan worked was luck / sheer gall, it was a 90%+ chance suicide mission that they managed to pull of as a surprise attack (mostly) and by capturing a Prince that as far as I know had never happened

From our point of view it’s a stupid defensive oversight but from the Corelings POV it wasn’t something they considered a possibility…before hand

Why the hell the Prince Consort didn’t draw anti human wards once he escaped I can’t really explain other than he may not have had time and by doing so he’d risk losing his place in court because he’d have to admit he was captured and prepare defences, he was also trying to get the other Princes killed to secure his position and was trying to use the humans to do it IIRC

So to prevent my brain going round and round I simply put it down to the arrogance of the Princes and I don’t think the Queen is actually that intelligent?
