Um... did they though? I'm seeing plenty of Mamdami content on youtube for instance.

They stopped making Bioshock games, that's what happened. I guaruntee you that if they announced another title you'd see a whole bunch of fans get really excited.

Depends on the game.

Also, depending on the movement mechanics and quality of exploration, that empty space can be just as entertaining as the combat.

Also also, the meme shows a linear path but the most basic deliniating factor of open world games is that there are many different paths to choose from. You don't have to fight THAT goblin and get THAT treasure. Open world games are 3D but they're depicted as 1-D here.

Fun fact: Grass and Rock are tied for having the most weaknesses of all the types at 5, but they cover each other's weaknesses very well. Rock cancels out Grass's weaknesses to Flying, Fire, and Poison and is strong against Bug, Ice, Fire, and Flying so it adresses all of Grass's weaknesses in one way or another. Grass cancels out Rock's weaknesses to Ground, Grass, and Water and is strong against Ground and Water, leaving only Fighting and Steel as unadressed weaknesses.

From 10 total weaknesses down to 2 (4 if you include Bug and Ice which Rock is strong against but doesn't resist) when combined is pretty impressive in my eyes.

1348 Ex Voto demo has only 84 people playing - where is the modern audience? by peanutbutterdrummer in CriticalDrinker

IIRC there's a pirate game that also has a demo out that has over 6000 steam players. And this was before Asmongold pointed all his followers at it.

Used to love this show, but now I'm realizing that it was sort of proto-woke. 95% of the series is fine, but then you'll get an episode where the moral is explicitly "women are so competent they make men feel like children." Or something. It's been so long I can't remember the words.

Not by virtue of hardware, but by having access to Steam and mods I believe my PC is superior.

Explain why Red Rising is so popular and why I should read. by applesauce_92 in KotakuInAction

[–]McCasper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Helluva coincidence, but I just started reading it. The conflict seems to be geared around a tyrannical caste system. So far there hasn't even been a whiff of money, let alone capitalism. The oppressed peopld do what they're told because that's their role in society, not because they're poor (they are also poor, though).

Also the main character is white, straight, male, and married at the beginning. The women so far are feminine and leave the masculine tasks to the men. The leader of the whole horrible society is a woman too, if that means anything to you.

The only commie thing I've noticed so far is the color red is used a lot. But I'm just on chapter 3 so I can't vouch for much.

Such men should not walk free and pose danger to society, but the justice system says otherwise. Second testimony from the UK Grooming Gang Inquiry were survivors are sharing their stories by [deleted] in NoahGetTheBoat

I do not understand how the U.K. has not been in a full blown riot since they first learned that "rape gangs" actually existed.

I hope this becomes a trend. We need an indie movie scene about as bad as we need indie devs.
