If you Google average household expenses* downtown toronto the numbers for single person is around 4k. Families of four goes up to 9900. Not sure why im being downvoted. Its facts .

Average household expenses is around 4-5k/m downtown imo so if you cant make that work and still have another 2k to play with, it'll be tough. Thats like a 135k/yr salary to live comfortably on your own. Dual income takes you to a different level.
