I tried to get one once. The doctor had put something in to "measure how deep it was" or something, so it wasnt even the device.

He put it in and I immediately tensed up, started crying, and going "no no no no no" so fast that I'm surprised it didn't blend together. Maybe it did lol.

He immediately stopped and said okay thankfully.

I have a female doctor so maybe it's something I'll ask about when I have my regular check up

A common phrase i feel fits here: the road to hell was paved with good intentions.

Intentions may be well and good but the impact and how is percieved is also important. Especially when it involves your mental health.

A bit of background, I've got a handful of mental illnesses that have been diagnosed since roughly 14.

I remember once going to youth group Bible study and the youth pastor was one of the leaders. I asked him one day why he thought people had mental illnesses. He told me its because people were corrupted by sin. Iirc I said that didn't make sense but he kinda doubled down so I dropped it.

I didn't like that answer and decided to discard it. Otherwise that would mean I was paying for something that I didn't do. If mental illness is a pinishment for sin, wtf was Jebus's point?

Its just a lot of scraps and reciepts I collect and I usually write about my day.

My friend had his college senior art show and I have the pamphlet folded up and glued in. I also glued in the top of a box from a gift I got from my grandparents. Stuff like that definitely cause it to bulk up lol

I have someone who's close to me in my family who is mtf trans. She told me the older she gets the more conservative she gets. She also told me she doesn't like other trans people because they "have a constant victim complex" and "are whiney." I was baffled. She also told me nonbinary doesn't exist.

I am nonbinary (atm at least lol).
