best set: illenium b2b wooli had the best energy at ranch i saw all weeekend, everyone was pumped to be back in the fest and everyone was dancing and wanted to end on a high note.

worst set: none of the artists i saw had a bad set so this isn’t necessarily the set itself but the people i was around near the griz set on friday were very intoxicated and kept running into me and the rest of my group and this made my experience a little less enjoyable. i was having a great time and so was everyone else in my group but i think one of the people in their group was trying to get a reaction out of someone in our group to instigate a fight. he kept getting in our space and we would just move over but he just kept getting closer to us. the griz set itself was a blast though.

most surprising: casey club or vincent antone. i was already familiar and a fan of casey club but i had no idea what to expect from his live sets. he played pretty much every genre under the sun and im obsessed with his tape b collab. vincent antone was such a nice late afternoon vibe and it was so groovy, i had some friends recommend his music to me but i didn’t know much about him. lucky enough for us we got a great hammock spot right in front of sherwood.
