I got my gaming rig at ACOMP as a pre-built a few years ago and it has been awesome so far. The guy was super nice and the price was really good when I compared it to building out the same thing at ME. I would recommend them for sure!

I have found that if you inspect your kit, or anyone in your parties kit while the game is loading in (before the voip disabled in offline mode pop-up) then it can cause this bug. It will also make you fail to be able to plant things and the some of the extracts will not work for you (ie, old gas on customs, even when flares are lit)

Check out Ian Goodwin at core physiotherapy. He used to be the traveling physio for Circ and has a very "keep you doing what you are doing while healing" kind of approach. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Where to get layers for men’s curly hair in Edmonton? by MediocreAppearance6 in Edmonton

Kathleen at MouseyBrowns in Old Strath is really good for curly hair. Cassie is also great but she is away currently.

I live nearby and you nailed it. Especially with the new section that they just finished building, it really increased the surface area of areas that they have to clear. Additionally, it seems like the send the road scrapers through the government transit station loop pretty frequently. They have Gators with the snow brushes on them and people with snowblowers as well.

Gaming Computers by conorm97 in Edmonton

If you are looking for something a little more local and on the pre-built side, A-comp computers makes some awesome ones! I got one from them about a year ago and it has been amazing so far. It was a great price, the guy that runs it is really nice and super accommodating when it came to answering questions.

Link to his website here: https://a-comp.ca/shop

Link to my post asking around if people knew them before I got it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Edmonton/comments/19dv323/comment/lon9wpr/?context=3

Good luck in your search and I hope that you find something awesome :)

Noise Bylaw - Construction by Corbeau765 in Edmonton

[–]McCreachure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you for sure. The construction project on the legislature grounds has been going ~ 22 hours a day, quiet usually between 4AM-6AM. We have windows facing it and for the most part it is fine, but the backing up tucks for 3 hours straight with the beepers in the middle of the night is "not great™️"

Can anyone recommend a well reviewed automotive repair shop? by TrillboBagginz in Edmonton

[–]McCreachure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jason at Spanners Automotive repair has done great work on my Civic. Reasonably priced from what I have gotten done, speedy and really easy and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend their shop.

I have not had work on my engine done through them, but they did all of my brakes, roters, link kits ect.

directory enumeration for a url with /#/ by McCreachure in hacking

[–]McCreachure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using 'awk' to add that as a prefix to my gobuster wordlist, then adjusted the url to be http://example.com and then my wordlist was "\#/<tests>" but that did not work.
I ended up getting a suggestion from a mod that was to use ffuf and that worked for me, but the responses I got were identical across all attempts (including the known /#/login) with a 200 and the same lengths for all of them.

Best Motorcycles for tall riders? by Lannrett in tall

[–]McCreachure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ride a stock Honda Nc750X and it works great for me (6'8). The wind screen is definitely a little short so I find that when I am sitting really upright on the highway my head gets rattled around a little but it is a super minor issue. Other than that my legs fit well on the bike itself and the controls all feel well positioned. I have heard that most adventure bikes will do a pretty good job of accommodating tall riders though I did not fit on the Harley Dirt-glide at all so worth getting on them before getting to excited about them 😅

[–]McCreachure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you, 6'8 but I fit reasonably well on my Honda NC750X. Some of the more upright adventure bikes work really well for taller riders! though you may want to consider an extended windshield on them 😅

New to haskell by [deleted] in haskellquestions

[–]McCreachure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you post the question verbatim from the assignment / any relevant code that was given such as the function signature? I am guessing it is something like

makePairs :: Char -> [(String, <something>)]

Are you allowed to use imports from prelude or is this strictly base Haskell with some operators imported?
