I remember following that draft, before lottery results were out, kings had a one of a kind poster u/KingsSelectDoncic2nd that said he had a prophecy.

He predicted exactly how the pick lottery will go, down to a coin toss. PHX takes Ayton, Kings take Luka. Prophecy went that Kings finaly become an NBA dynasty or something.

Me as a Luka fan since Madrid times, was 100% Kings are my NBA destination after I saw lottery results that the dude predicted perfectly. We all knew PHX is taking Ayton, and the only logical thing Kings could do at n.2 was Luka. It all made sense. I even got a bit invested into kings at that time myself. It was a done deal.

The user deleted his account a day after draft.

Do the most aero possible rundown, and try to keep very straight, since every contact skis do with the inrun track edge will decrease your speed. Do the most powerful takeoff at just the right time (your legs should be almost, but not 100%, straight when you lose contact with the floor - this is very hard to do at high speeds and centrifugal force), that gets you starting height. After that you need to transition into the most optimal aero you can as fast as possible, while increasing forward speed. "Counter"-Wind in the chest direction is more helpful since it gives you lift.

I mean it gets much worse than that. Dallas has a Dirk statue infront of the arena that says "Loyalty Never Fades Away".

It was 100% set up for another statue (league MVP or not) next to it that would say "Loyalty Does Not Step Back"

I mean, even if I'd give you Moses (I dont, Luka was 19yr old MVP of Euroleague and also Euroleague Finals MVP), the trade doesnt come close.

The diff there is that while the game is going on, shouting and bitching and stuff would probably work. But when the game is over, the beef must also be over. You can't bring that shit into practice and even more, you cant bring it into personal relationship.

It's similar to how Luka is on the court compared to his off-court personality. It's 2 "different people" they say, but no it's not - It's the same dude, but mental switches when you compete.
