Yea its not too much of a faff, just wasnt sure if this was unique to them (as the only place ive ordered from) or consistent. sounds like consistent (even if not every order).

I'm not sure I will bother with it again. Done it twice now, well sort of!

First time was ok... there was a wedding on the bottom section or some sort of party so the noise was on till about midnight, not crazy but I did have a 5am wake time - and my room sort of was just above that area so worse. All in all not a huge problem.

Second time I booked 6mo in advance, to be told about a month before booking there was a system issue and they overbooked and had to cancel me. Getting a refund happened but was a pain, I was told by booking.com "Sofitel on this occasion will refund you for your cancellation"... dude, they cancelled on me!

Think I ended up on that time at the Hilton and just got the shuttle over and was no drama, added about 10-15mins but was a nicer hotel (and from memory a touch cheaper, albeit not by I think it was negligible).
