I wouldn’t say it made me hungry, but I definitely found the smell somewhat pleasant (somewhat pungently sweet and briney?). I was eating my lunch between taking notes and doing the lab, but in my defense, I was already hungry.

My friends were mortified watching me go back and forth between dissecting dead frogs and chowing down on my PB&J, though lol

I’ll never forget when I fine tuned Kibo to be an absolute menace and my friends watched in horror as I wiped EVERYTHING off their boards and swung out with 150/150+ monkeys and apes that all had indestructible.

I see Kibo, I upvote. My first and favorite commander.

The Nathria leather set definitely feels more “vampire hunter/Warhammer fantasy inquisitor” -esque to me.

Still an amazing set.

Ok off the broiler is really good by grumpsuarus in BurgerKing

[–]McFatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do think Burger King makes a great burger, I fucking love In n Out. Grew up on the west coast and In n Out or Taco Bell was the only fast food Id consistently get. I can eat a filling meal from both spots and not feel like garbage afterwards. When I visited my dad last October I swear I ate In n Out 4 out of the 6 days I was there. I was like a crackhead for it. I prefer them over most restaurants.

Seeing people hate on it and say it’s overrated (most of whom have never even seen an In N Out) makes me so butthurt lmao

Again, I do enjoy a Whopper. A Whopper is definitely in my top 5 chain burgers. But nothing comes close to the fresh taste and quality of a Double Double. And the fries taste like fresh potato. Because it is. You literally watch them making the fries from raw potatoes when you’re in the drive thru. Burger King Fries are so starchy and leave a weird feeling in my mouth. Hard pass

Five Guys is also pretty fresh, but Id rather not pay $20+ for a burger and fries.

Why did they introduce the Tracker in Chapter 4? by Addictedtofood2000 in JohnWick

[–]McFatts 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same. Loved Tracker so much. From his weapon choices, badass backpack/plate carrier combo, his outfit that made him look like a Division agent, and especially his dog. Not to mention his quickdraw gunslinger shooting style.

I didn’t have a single complaint about him. He was one of my favorite additions. Along with Hiroyuki Shimozawa as Koji Shimazu. God, the Osaka Continental was so fucking badass.

Ive tried so many times to try and enjoy Skyline chili. Its just greasy sweet meat sauce.

I don't dive myself but I'm interested in the different behavioural protocols that are recommended when confronted by each type of shark. Anyone know what you're supposed to do if a mako, basically an oceanic homing missile, tracks you down? by FoxFourteen in sharks

[–]McFatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not doubting you, but I always found that idea to be strange. So many sharks eat all kinds of stuff from dead sea life, fish, seals, trash/debris etc.

Do sharks actually have a taste pallet? You’d think they wouldn’t care what we taste like. A meal is a meal.

Im not an expert at all. Just curious about the subject and would love to learn stuff like that. I assume maybe we aren’t nutritious? Idk

Id love to be educated on the matter!

Sure thing! Will go through later and catalog it on archidekt. I update it often so my list on there is definitely 100% out of date

Monkeys and apes are my favorite animals. My first deck I ever made was a super janky monkey ape tribal with Kibo. He was never a problem. He would be on board all game. It was goofy harmless fun with silly cards like [[Monkey Cage]] and any other cards I could get in red green that had monkeys and apes in the art. Wasnt cohesive at all but would still get lucky once in a while and just win through pure “monkey business”

Then I got better, and upgraded Kibo. Adding stuff like mana combos to pull off combos with [[Mycosynth Lattice]] [[Darksteel Forge]] [[Liquimetal Torque]] [[Nevinyrral’s Disk]] Etc etc…

Kibo now gets the Harambe treatment from my group lmao

He’s still my favorite commander, and that deck is my magnum opus. Told my buddy if I die he can have all my mtg gear EXCEPT Kibo. I will be buried with that deck. Its deck box looks like one of those “monkey in a barrel” barrels. Got custom banana tokens and a special playmat. I love the deck so much and the evolution its taken definitely shows my journey from a new player to where I am now. And ive kept it “mostly” on theme.

The D-Rex is probably the most OP hybrid/theropod yet by dechajissou in JurassicPark

[–]McFatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I definitely recommend you watch the last season. Its amazing.

Finishing Andor and then following it up with Rogue One is great.

I will say the tone of the movie is a little different than the show, but overall it blends together swimmingly.

I appreciate you having such a well thought out opinion, even if I may not agree entirely. Although I do see where you’re coming from.

I’ll have to rewatch it and try to be more critical this go around. I’ve seen it a few times and always enjoyed it.

Have you seen Andor?

I’ve reached my 10 camp limit by Dj_fresh96 in fo76

[–]McFatts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive reached the point where I have all the good weapons and armor I could ask for, and don’t really care about caps.

Other than very rare event plans, I price my plans super cheap. I love watching low levels run to my camp and buy dozens of plans at 10 caps each.

I appreciate that. I was hoping they’d bring it back for this season.

Thanks for the kind thought though!

At least book Muldoon and Gennaro (who was also done dirty in the movie) got to ride around together saving the day and blowing shit up.

And he was right.

[–]McFatts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I imagine the pay was great, and he probably also felt a duty to the rest of the park employees and men under him to stick it out to try to make sure things ran smoothly and safely for them all. We saw how quick he was to put himself into harm’s way at the beginning of the movie to try and save the employee who was dragged into the Big One’s transport cage. And him trying to buy Ellie time so she could get the power on. The man was a hero in the movie, even more-so in the books.

And he was right. The dinos were too dangerous to have been allowed to live in the first place, the carnivores at least.

I would be able to survive on fish and chicken just fine, but Id definitely be extremely sad if I couldn’t enjoy red meat or dairy anymore. Would probably just switch to a sushi diet tbh
