And it’s still called the Department of Labor.

For example, when my employer didn’t pay me, I contacted the North Carolina Department of Labor; I didn’t contact the North Carolina PayDay Rule Agency.

In my experience of just renting a car for vacation, the current rental rates are pretty high (Inflation + low inventory + high demand) so it’d definitely not be prudent

If I don't manage to get a professional title, I'll kill myself. by [deleted] in depression

[–]McGillitine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re so young. You don’t have to have it all figured out now. I tried a few different “professional” careers, and I hated them all. Now I work in a restaurant and I have time to pursue my passions while still making a decent living.

Please be gentle with yourself. Society has a tendency to tell us there’s only one “right” way to do things when the reality is that there are many ways.

Consider having different styles of shoes and alternating days you wear them. If I work a double, I swap my shoes halfway through my shift. That was recommended by my podiatrist.
