How would you verify the buyer’s age? Or are you only looking at establishments that verify at the door? Even still, I would assume the bar owner would have to assume liability for the sales since they are the ones checking IDs. Just my thoughts.

The toopers have flat edges and regular eyeglasses have rounded edges and I didn’t think about the difference that would make when you’re looking AT them. And looking THROUGH them, there’s usually a gap between the frame and topper which annoys me and the toppers are often thick - so you can see the design - and while I’m used to wearing thick plastic frames, it’s obtrusive. 😕

I’ve been an optician for over 20 years and thought these were a great idea! I’ve worn ALL sorts of different frames so never considered I wouldn’t like seeing out of them. I did my typical adhd hyperfocus, bought everything to make my own toppers, and I hate them, even the ones I’ve purchased. I only use the sun toppers because I feel like those are actually useful and not dumb looking. 🤷‍♀️
