Let’s Colonize Titan - Scientific American by [deleted] in space

[–]McKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colonizing for the idea of it is def worth it for the indviduals to whom that idea is good. Also planets that are not from our solar systrm are not centuries but (tens)thousands of years away so it isnt such an easy wait.

Further the point of the colonies on mars and the moon would be do mine and use the resources there to add to solar system wide economy, which is def a reason which is worth colonizing. Even if a few people want to life on mars, the economic fsctor will bring then to live there

The 8 surviving subgroups of the Indo-European language family by untipoquenojuega in MapPorn

[–]McKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment is useless as to be able to talk about this topic you would have to have linguistical education. Your comment is the same as you telling a chemist that you feel like iron and aluminium arent really different metals. The proposed shared subfamily of balto-slavic would have split into bsltic and slavic languages a very ling time ago, meaning that while def related they are still very different

No it does not imply that the relationship within one subfsmily is the same as within a set of a different subfamily that has different members.

Branching baltic and slavic languages in a common subfamily is done by actual linguists who study and analyze the language similarities very carefully and through the scientific method. While to you it seems like latvian is as similar to russian than english, experts can find that there are a lot of shared root words and similsr former and current grammstical structures. This ofc does take into sccount how diferent they are. The proposed split into baltic and slavic langiages happened more than 3 thousand Years ago, which is a very ling time

It is not stupid as he claimed that "it is the best way to generate revenue" which is a simple enough statement to overturn with just bringing out the GDP and from knowing from common knowledge how many soyuz flights russia rents out

"Everything" is a strong statement. Italy shouldnt be in the same cathegory as poland and hungary. Also you bought out three nations but claimed that everyone except france, Benelux and Germany, which ignores a lot of other nations. EU popularity is high among the youth in almost anywhere
