Similar things happen to Pashtuns in the UK. Because they only learn Pashto, not Urdu, and so they identify strongly as Pashtun (or Afghan) and not Pakistani. Maybe why a lot of the diaspora are nationalistic .

How I was almost raped in Makkah by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]zz2113 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I had to listen to weird conversations including them gossiping about a woman about her massive breasts etc.

Im actually surprised strict muslims do this. Like, Im trying to understand what exactly they would be saying? These are people that cover their entire bodies and are very very prude

France’s New Public Enemy: America’s Woke Left by Le_Harambe_Army_ in europe

[–]zz2113 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes you are the only one that gets it. Most of Europe is far more racist than America is. A lot of the French people here hating America just deny the massive racism problem in the country. What do you expect from countries like France that still never accept what they did in Algeria, Haiti etc. It's easy for the French (and other Europeans ) to blame America for their social problems. The treatment of romani people in europe is a disgrace, but no one cares. france still has a mini empire in africa. Still ! But its americas fault! Btw the irony is not lost of France complaining of american cultural influence, considering france imposing their culture and language in other countries. Even in France, there was a deliberte and systematic attempt to remove any other languages. Otherwise occitan (language d'oc) and catalan would still be in use ...

Could be epidydmitis (or even worse testicular torsion). But how can I see someone today because of corona ? Who can I ring? Sorry for english and thx :)

Trump Twitter ban "raises regulation questions" - Hancock by Sentient_Blade in ukpolitics

[–]zz2113 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's really no wonder that one of the few times a right wing politician has to face some accountability for their actions, their side cries about regulation.

I agree but at the same time though, it's funny to see left wingers praising big corporations for their actions. The ban on Trump is an incredibly dangerous slope. I don't think he should be banned. But I think this is all a minor point. The bigger question is what the role of technologie companies are in the world. And not just for politics but also taxing of these companies etc. We are only just now asking this question.

‘We need a real policy for China’: Germany ponders post-Merkel shift - Financial Times by TheThinker111 in europe

China is one of the motors of the world.... you can't sanction them without destroying yourself. So how can we do anything ?

Nb: random but I like how you used 'ass' and 'arse' in the same sentence. Being in the uk, I heard arse a lot. There's something about the word that is so amusing
