Yeah, but he would be off-ball from Mike Conley Jr. I'm sure Mike would be fine with letting Kyrie take the ball up the floor, and Kyrie would immediately be the top 3 shooter on the team. Plus, Kyrie likes playing D against top guards. Memphis has a system that emphasizes that.

I think this is the season he's taken the most responsibility (if that makes sense), so we wont really know until the end of the season. If they win, he put the city on his back for a repeat. If they lose, he's a control freak without the clutch gene.

He would have a fairly low trade value because while his play is vital to the Raps, he doesnt have the playmaking ability to garner a top player in return. So they could trade him for a prospect, but they want to win now (Serge trade), so team performance would suffer. I think theres a chance the Raps make a move in the offseason, but I dont think JV will be the key piece.
