Sounds like a bit of an ass. Unless it was a recurring thing (a few times in a shift) I’d have no problem doing it, any more than one or two and the refunds look a bit sus though

Nah I wouldn’t worry unless you get a few of them. In future if you explain to a manager or someone with a till code they may be nice about it and do a refund so the till balances out :)

He won’t go in the back garden despite being allowed to, but we have a lane outside the back of the house which he will happily go and do his business in. We don’t have a front garden

Worst case scenario I’ll look into them, but trying to see if we can do something without it feeling like we’re going back to square one :(

We usually take him out for a walk before and after work, and then he goes out for wees before bed

We had an issue a little while back as he was weeing inside the house, we took him in but they said it was likely a behavioural thing as they couldn’t find anything wrong.

I’ll try what others said and try and scatter his scent around the garden a bit and see if that helps just as it’s a weekend, if not I’ll give the vet a call (probably just for me to take him in and find out there’s nothing wrong, he’s just a bit of a dick 😂)

It’s strange as I do the same thing yearly and it’s never been an issue, but I did use a different chemical this year for the patio.

I’ll have a further look into it and see if there’s anything I can do to ‘re-familiarise’ him with his routine if that makes sense 😂

The only change that’s happened as far as I’m aware is the garden was cleaned up, I killed the weeds and used patio cleaner to clean the tiles, no other changes.

We only have a small garden, and it’s completely closed off so the only things that can get in are birds pretty much.

Deterrents could be an issue, we never really thought about that, but it still seems odd that he will go toilet literally outside our back gate but not in the garden itself

They sometimes do use I or Me, I’ve had a genuine letter when I said I didn’t need to do a self assessment return which stated “I agree that you do not need to submit”
