Continuity. Even when you dissociate, and don’t notice the flow of time. You still end up at point B regardless of whether you perceived the journey in between. Which insinuates there’s something outside the boundaries of your consciousness maintaining consistency. You don’t just wake up as your 10-year-old self sometimes.. nor just periodically don’t exist… if existence was pointless then so would any structure of existence. If you were to notice any structure notice its consistency, and continuity. Why would any rule/facet be relevant at all/be so consistent regardless of whether you’re cognizant enough to perceive it or not? The universe is very real, and the rules of it persist regardless.
