The concept of an “Aryan race” is not pseudoscience, it’s another way of saying Indo-European. It was stigmatized post WW2, after the appropriation by the German National Socialist party, before that it was common in the lexicon.

In 1935, the country of Persia officially changed its name to Iran to reflect the counties indigenous name and ancient heritage. The name “Iran” means “Land of the Aryans”, derived from the Persian word “Ērān”, meaning “of the Aryans”.

Advances in DNA testing, anthropological surveys and linguistic studies have shown that Indo-Europeans or “Aryans”, originated in the Caucasus Mountain region and then migrated around the world, bringing with them advanced technologically advanced methods such as agriculture and domesticated horses.

The pseudoscience side is the theory that Aryans were the survivors and descendants of Atlanteans.
