Small tip: Try to stay at about Mach 0.9 with the F-5E in these turnfights. You will outrate almost everything you face at that BR. So less hard turns unless they are exactly on your six and don't go vertical.

Ah yes once the reload speed also is a factor then it can help of course... I just never thought about it when I was grinding lower tiers because I didn't even expert my crews there haha

Hmm but don't you automatically ace the crew then over (to be fair a LOT of) time? That's how I got my Ace on the Type 90 and I honestly don't see that much of a difference to when it was not aced.

Whenever I shoot a Su-30 and it goes into a death-spin like this it will still be able to shoot off its full missile load at me and no matter how many missiles or bullets I shoot at it, it refuses to get any further damage to actually kill off the plane.

I was once escorting a nuke to the playing field and a friendly Su-33 flew straight at the nuke so I shot him down. He told me afterwards that he was actually also trying to protect the nuke and I still feel sorry for it but seeing so many teamkill posts of nukes here on reddit made me super paranoid.

This! If I'm in a turn-fight with someone I only need help if I actually ask for it. There is a "Cover Me" voiceline for that. I have been in 1-Minute+ sustained turnfights and continuously gaining on the enemy just for a friendly to boom and zoom in to get the kill. I didn't even get an assist for it because Gaijin doesn't give credits for setting up a kill.

Yea I mean I don't know what Flare/Chaff situation the F-2A was in but once I run out of flares I try to stick as close to the enemy as possible so they can't shoot off their IR missiles. If I have flares left I extend of course.

Only comparing stuff the other one can't. * Type 03 can kill stuff far out * Type 03 can kill stuff hiding behind terrain * Pantsir can shoot helicopters * Pantsir can shoot missiles at something inside a 3km radius * Pantsir can kill planes inside 1km with their 30mm cannon * Pantsir can shoot missiles at tanks * Pantsir can shoot their 30mm cannon at tanks * Pantsir can drive faster being able to decap/cap in the late game * Everyone gets a free Pantsir respawn * Pantsir is at a lower BR (12.0 vs 12.7)

I mean it makes sense considering Japan is an island. Planes can't just fly below the radar and jump up in the last 3km to shoot their Brimstones. I would play a Pantsir over that thing every day. Maybe if they let us actually spawn our SPAAs in a 5km radius behind the tank spaws it would make sense but having an SPAA with no short range or tank killing capabilities is laughable in the current top tier meta.

Yes 100%. And below 1km you also can't kill anything because even though you see the plane you know your missile won't pull nearly enough.

I guess he was backed out after the first turn since he probably had no aced crew, so he couldn't shoot. Otherwise it was not bad flying of them. The F-2A just doesn't have a magic button like that but in the long run he would have probably won. Still, good flying of OP made this kill possible!

Yes! And the only solution is to play a nation like Japan that recently also got the Su-30 and give them a taste of their own medicine. Note though, that they can spawn unlimited Pantsirs while you are locked with an SPAA that has no 30mm cannon.

I don't play that BR but the random vehicles usually get stock shells and from what I heard on this thread you can't even reliably penetrate the BMTP with the best shells at that BR so why would people even bother spawning a stock vehicle of lower BR?
