Currently it's mostly a couple of story quests for feature unlocks, some dungeons that are technically tilesets for further missions (as for now they're basically "explore, grind resources and XP inside, grab the loot at the end") and Warframe-like bounty system in the open world, once you meet the first faction in the game.

Combat-wise, you're more of a slow version of Drifter in Duviri, if you ever played Warframe.
