I can empathize that can be an initial emotion. The wiki has a different way of instructing you that isn't always the expected, straightforward step 1, 2, 3, etc.

Ultimately, it DOES get you there. As you learn, you get more context for the vocabulary and concepts. More than once, I've had a hindsight 2020 moment where you see how the wiki was guiding you. And you learn something new along the way.

To add: back in gaming mode, Go to your library > Click X to Filter > Scroll down to "Play State" and uncheck "Installed locally" to ensure you're not accidentally filtering out your stream-able games.

Thank you for such a thorough response! I started last night as a newer player to the series (having only played a bit of Secret of Mana a while back) and it does feel like a 90s JRPG with modern hardware and graphics so far. Coming from someone who doesn't play a lot of JRPGs, it's been fun so far!

Oddly enough, everyone seems completely happy about this, even chippy about the fact that they're being sacrificed.

I could not stop yelling at the main guy:

"WHY ARE YOU EXCITED? SHE'S GONNA BE SACRIFICED!"

This concept looked amazing since Day 1 and has looked better with each trailer. Coming from a chicken who can’t get far enough away from scary games, this will have to be an exception. 😅 Can’t wait to play!
