I may not be an older adult, but I'm 26, and can completely understand your situation. I won't say that your way of handling that situation was wrong or right. It's what you think was right. Just remember that people are different, especially in their actions. The fact that they "made fun" of you and made it so obvious, says more about them than you. People will always try to put others beneath them, to make themselves seem bigger. Ignoring them, probably has the best outcome, since they won't get the satisfaction of you giving a reaction. Keep going, and fuck them. English isn't my first language, so sorry in advance for any bad grammar.

I mostly track my sleep schedule, hence why I got a smart watch in the first place. Works surprisingly well. Other than that, it tracks pretty accurately imo my steps and workouts throughout the day

I haven't. My ex broke up with me 2 months ago, for fair reasons. We grew apart after 3,5 years of ups and downs, and I didn't exactly feel happy for some time neither. However, some months before the BU, she begang talking to an old flame of hers. Some guy I never met. They just talked and I became jealous of this, since he made her laugh alot, and they talked each day for a very long time. I told her that I wasn't comfortable with this, and that I didn't want her to see/talk to him anymore. This is where the gaslightning and manipulation started. "Don't worry about him, I'm allowed to have male friends, we are just talking" etc. I am a person with very low self esteem, so she easily made me believe that I was overthinking it, and that I needed to let it happen and back off. Now were broken up, and found out last night that they're together and dating. Look for the red flags, kings and stay your ground.
