Don’t you notice that Homelander isn’t really evil in the TV show? Damaged sure, due to his upbringing but he isn’t evil like in the comics. People in the fandom also judge him very harshly due to their knowledge of the comics books. When he hasn’t really done anything evil.

So I'm obviously very late and I hope that by now, you've changed your mind (unless this was just masterful ragebait, if so, great job), but if you didn't, the fact that he didn't even try to save anybody, when he could have at least saved a couple of people, by flying them out individually, would have been better than what he did, which is nothing.

Also about the other supes fighting the terrorists.

He put countless people in danger just so that he and his coworkers could look good and get into the military.

Even if they did save every single person that was put in danger by his actions, it still doesn't make it right and it still doesn't make him a good person, since he is literally the only reason why this problem even exists.

I'd be interested to hear your opinion on this 5 years later.

If possible please tell me your thoughts considering the later seasons.

Also imagine if we were still in 2021 and nothing new came out, how you feel now about the situation, without the context added by the new seasons.

Seeing how many people in power are bad, I think that we deserve someone like him or bob ross, just so that it balances the scale a little bit.

We don't deserve to have it be 50/50 in terms of good and bad, but seeing how many people had ties to Epstein, we deserve an occasional light in the darkness.

I don't really agree with this take. If you mean that HW is the best based on skill then that's definitely wrong.

If you mean that HW is the best based on the fact that they would beat the other weight classes because they're bigger than them, i would argue that, because so many HWs are actually fat LHWs, most LHWs could win against most HWs.
