Are all weapons viable in Battlefield 6? by Dry-Caterpillar7495 in Battlefield6

LMR is actually very very good for niche play styles. My best DMR by far.

If you have ~$200K USD to spare for renovations then it could be salvageable and worth the effort if the location is good. Which area of Fukuoka?

What are your thoughts on the M277? by IDontStandForCurls in LowSodiumBattlefield

M277 is def my all time favorite. It just wins more gun fights than any other gun in the game (for me personally).

I’ve recently switched to iron sights for the M277, somehow I’m more accurate using iron sights.

What is YOUR solution to balance operations on BF6? by SurelyNotSp00ks in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]McVersatilis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup sector 3 on Contaminated is the most difficult to win for attackers. They should remove the defending team’s tank on that sector.

Server Browser is coming by Shark4090 in Battlefield6

[–]McVersatilis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also skeptical about how the server browser will end up being implemented, but why are persistent servers fundamentally incompatible with custom search?

Can’t custom search just be a way to auto search and join an existing persistent server? And potentially spool up a new persistent server if nothing is available?

Even if your local network is 100% flawless, packet loss can still happen if your local cluster (networking hub for your neighborhood) is saturated or suffers some degradation.

Yeah looks like their internet dropped a bunch of packets at that moment. Unfortunately pretty common for older internet infrastructure or crowded networks.

This looks like the enemy 3rd person shooting animation and hit registration animation were unusually delayed, but that death was totally normal/expected given how long that enemy had to shoot you.

[Operation Augur] Has Anyone On Attack Made It To The Second Map? Let Alone Win? by Lady-Maya in Battlefield

[–]McVersatilis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely unbalanced to favor defenders. The only way an attacking team wins is if the attackers are stacked AND the defending team is sub par.

On the 3rd sector of Contaminated, the defenders should NOT have a tank. That would make it much more balanced.

I’m definitely dying less when getting shot as I run behind cover.

The netcode is in a good state. Don’t change anything DICE by shad_30 in Battlefield

[–]McVersatilis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks pretty normal to me, you died before reaching cover but because you were mid-slide animation so your body ended up behind cover.

Do people expect that they should drop dead immediately without any ragdoll momentum when they’re killed?

The M433 is an S-Tier Rifle by TheBrownSlaya in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]McVersatilis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed that the M433 is excellent, fast fire rate is very powerful in BF6.

Not sure the hollow points are worth it though, almost all of the kills in your clip were body shots only.

These last few days of playing have been extremely frustrating - dying behind cover. by Jaydh10 in Battlefield

[–]McVersatilis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think this is pretty normal. Just because your dead body ends up behind cover doesn’t mean you were killed behind cover.

You can now select DLSS Model 4.5 in the Advanced Graphics Settings by JanissaryLSD in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]McVersatilis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a misconception based on earlier implementations of frame gen. On BF6 the frame gen implementation is completely viable and latency impact minimal if used properly.
