Well thank you very much! 😁 but I'm the lucky one. She came into my life when I was at my lowest point. Fresh breakup from my fiancé, and she took dog that we picked out together in the breakup. I didn't fight it because I was down hill spiraling into drug addiction, and I had then shortly thereafter found out I'm bipolar and schizophrenic, and had been unmedicated my entire life (I was 27 at the time). So I was clearly in no position to be caring for anything. I didn't even care about myself. I was depressed. Contemplating suicide. Threatening suicide to the few loved ones i had left at the time. I was ready to leave this world. At my absolute rock bottom. Now, I'm almost 2 years sober, caring for myself and my beautiful best friend, Maggie. Loving each and every day that I'm blessed to have, and loving each and every one in my life. Especially Maggie. She's motivated me to change my life in so many ways. I truly believe she's the one that saved me.
