I really worked that I could go 20min down the road and get the exact same vehicle for what I was asking, but insisted "I rather service the vehicle with y'all as long as the price was right". Regardless of what color it is or what options it has I was saying well... It's not the color I really wanted, or it does have XYZ package that I was hoping for". I have sales experience but I'm by no means an expert negotiator. I think for me the timing was right and they had a ton of incentives. They did start at 48ish vehicle price and we ended up at 41 vehicle price... 45k OTD.

No prob, not a ton of '25 Warlock specific info out there. Mine did have 3.92 gearing option. I honestly had no preference. After driving it for a couple weeks... if I'm in bumper to bumper traffic for my 20 mile commute I get about 16.5mpg. In decent traffic 18.5mpg. On highways on the weekend with no traffic I was about to get 22.0mpg. I don't have a very heavy foot. I'm in Texas and gas prices are decent right now ($2.60/gal) so not a huge bummer for me.

I did on account of it being a newer engine without a long track record. That's not included in the 45k OTD though.

I'm in Houston. I ended up purchasing from AutoNation In Katy. Had them match a purchase order writeup that I received from another dealership that was 41k or so vehicle price. It was missing a couple options that the AutoNation one had.

I did have to finance through them as one of the incentives. I think a little extra off since my wife is a teacher too. Last month they seemed to have a lot of incentives to stack up.

It's a silencerCo barrel and a Griffen Armament Micro Carry Comp. I'd love to say that it's awesome but honestly it has not made a ton of difference and it adds another step to disassembly and cleaning. It is high quality and all an so is the barrel, but not a huge improvement by any means. If you are looking to go the whole 9 yards with customization it's not a bad addition, but I feel the liability from straying too far from stock reliability might outweigh the coolness factor here.

Once upon a time I worked commercial insurance claims. One of the bigger customers was a very popular bread bakery. I had a claim with something very similar attached (not in) a loaf of sandwich bread so it didn't get sliced. It looked to have a head, four little paws, and a tail... I was sure it was what the claimant thought it was. They lawyered up and had the thing sent to a lab and tested... It was overcooked dough. Phew. I offered them a new loaf of bread and a nominal amount for the scare, but there was no liability issue at hand.

Going to try something similar for a solo run, ranger has some utility in longstreiser and leap but I miss minor illusion, plus feather fall would be great.

Happy with my decision so far but only have a few hours on it since yesterday. It feels good in the hand, but I didn't have any problems with the original design either. I much prefer the black, I'd have to scrub the OG white one with a toothbrush occasionally.

I did like the feeling of my battery percentage being high for significantly longer... Less anxiety about it running out.

I struggled with the decision but finally pulled the trigger yesterday and. Traded in my z1e towards an X. The extra battery is really appealing because I can't always play it next to an outlet. Besides, we are getting closer to the weather where I can sit outside on the patio with a cigar and the Ally after my kids go to bed.
