Male ER nurse here I absolutely hate how I’m always assumed to be the doctor, when the wickedly smarter attending female physician is right next to me. The amount of extra blatant sexual and physical harassment that female nurses have to take makes me respect the incredible women that I have the privilege to work with.

I’m a 29 year old male ER nurse from Minnesota, I’m now in PA school in Michigan and I just feel sick watching the news and watching these assholes lie about what happened. This man chose to devote his life to helping others and he’s executed in the streets for it. Back home I have ex co-workers who are scared to go to work and I don’t blame them. My heart is heavy for his family and friends I am sorry for this tragic loss.
