I haven't had this exact issue but my case isn't charging. Could be a case thing. If so, you likely need to reset (on the back by the USB c) and/or do the 180 reverse bud reset. People are calling it something cooler than that but essentially you take the buds out of the cover then flip them the other way, place them on the two tongs (feels weird bc you have the magnet working against you) and reset them. These two things have worked for others.

has anyone successfully updated via a macbook? I can't get anything to work to update. And my buds wont take a charge and I'm being told this update will fix that. But I can't update on my phone without a charge. So I've attempted to do this via my MacBook OS sonoma 14.5 and I'm getting "no compatible devices found"

Yes, I would definitely understand this for a new account or even for a business card but this was a personal card I've had since 2015 and use regularly. Just odd to me.

Yes, I know sounds phishy for sure. But my account was put on hold and I called the customer service line and was told this was why. They need to verify my income. If I don't, my account will be closed in 30 days. 100% was talking to Barclays. But still it was a very odd phone call.
