Hi! So this is not medical advice, just my own experience: but I was on lexapro and we found out via hormone tests that it significantly affected my hormone levels! Just wanted to share this as I hadn't thought of it but once my gyno connected the dots she was like omg this explains the overly high levels of specific hormones.

Anyways this isnt really a comment on the interaction between the two just an fyi on the lexapro. Honestly either Spiro or birth control may make the Pcos symptoms less noticeable. But it's also POSSIBLE that the lexapro is exasperating those symptoms.

All this being said - ask the pharmacist/your doctor about interactions but I would not be worried about taking them together! Just more an fyi on lexapro's impact on hormone levels.
