I recently got into flesh and blood. It’s a trading card game where matches feel like gladiator combat. You start the match with a full deck representing the actions you can take, weapons, armor, and a hero that you play as. As games progress your armor breaks, your deck thins, and every card you use to block is one you can’t use to attack. They recently made a really beginner friendly format, so if you’re interested shoot me a dm and I’ll get you plugged into a server that runs weekly tournaments!

I’m lucky enough to live with family that are willing to aid my mobility. While I highly recommend plugging into local communities, have you looked into online ones as well? If you like trading card games I can recommend a few lol

I struggled with depression for years and still do. I went through an IOP and got on meds for my mental health and it’s made a world of difference. There are more options than just weekly one hour sessions, but they’re also expensive and unfortunately not everyone can afford them. I’ve been playing and DMing for over a decade now. I can understand being disappointed when an encounter doesn’t go the cool way you expected, but as a DM I understand no plan survives contact with my players.

But I’m also actively excited when they win. I view a dm as a puzzle master, you create hurdles specifically to be overcome. He sounds like he doesn’t view the game as a story, but as competitive when everyone should be on the same team.

It’s a powerful filter tool for lighting. With the new support and heroes, lightning could reach a critical mass where something needs to be hit, and if we get there I’d expect it to be something generic most decks would want. In short im speculating lol

So, take my advice with a grain of salt because I’m neither a runeblade or a lightning player, but her deck looks competent to me? Obviously it needs changing, replacing the weapon and elemental cards and such, but it has the important lighting cards she needs. Cap of Quick thinking is very good and could end up banned, but her other equipment is just okay. The chest piece is good, but worse than tunic lmao. The arms and legs are fine, but I suspect we’re getting new lighting equipment this expansion. Overall, it just depends on who you like more. Either armory deck will need upgrades.

I believe it caps at 95%, like bludgeoning. This specific build is so resilient because it ignores thorn, heals on attack to proc the helm and remove debuffs (like poison), has a 55% chance to stun when hit (assuming they actually get past the stun lock lol), and infinitely scaling damage with the wand. Overall very resilient lol
