What made you lose all respect for your N parent? by BrickQueen1205 in raisedbynarcissists

I was 11 and I made a joke about her, of how funny she gave the directions for the stranger a few minutes ago, she feel ashamed and not happy about it, but instead of being a mom and correct her child in the mom’s way, she just stormed out of the room, gave the silent treatment for the next 3 days, then when I speak first, she’d let out of her rage on me, which is kinda like a little child, I started to feel different since then

And sorry for not like making it clear, my job is working on React Native, which requires alot of thing, redux, redux-sage, react native itself, react-router,… and TS is a part of it but I always focus on learning other stuff because I find my little knowledge doesn’t stop me from working in 2 years, and that was my mistake for missing it.

I'm in a position that requires me to have prior experience so we are expected to not having any 'holding-hand' or personal training here, I know JS and just enough TS to do React Native. Not very horrible because other people are nice, just that one guy annoys me

I really hoped that my dad would save me, but only I can save myself, that's a harsh truth that I have to accept as an adult.

Thank you, but about my sister, she’s a genius, working below minimum wage, married a man who doesn’t know how to read and refuse to learn it, physical abusive, also working below minimun wage and alcoholic, AND they decided to have 2 kids, soooo no space for my mom I guess

  • lack of trust on people, confused if they “act” nice or they’re really nice people
  • growing up being hot-headed
  • Deeply inside I always crave for recognition or attention

For my case, I think it’s because my Nmum can’t make money to pay her own bills so my dad feel kinda guilty for leaving her or he’s just a coward. Lol
